@  najay : (03 August 2015 - 11:54 PM) not me :)
@  Boss LS362 : (03 August 2015 - 02:55 PM) anyone else pissed that the GT350 Track Tour is all filled up?
@  LSECO : (30 July 2015 - 04:43 PM) The M 18 Hellcat...what I'd like to be in, when the pass.side airbag blows ! :twister:
@  TymeSlayer : (30 July 2015 - 02:35 PM) you could end up like this... :zombi:
@  302 Hi Pro : (30 July 2015 - 12:21 PM) M18
@  Yankee-eight : (30 July 2015 - 07:13 AM) Perhaps in the meantime you can put a front towards enemy claymore sticker on the wheel due to possible shrapnel :)
@  LSECO : (29 July 2015 - 05:15 PM) Received the recall notice. Funny Ford ! Better late than never. So, I must drive very carefully, because passengers' side air bag might throw metal in my face!
@  Rich B. : (29 July 2015 - 01:49 PM) It's true, my letter said the air bag will be changed when the parts are in. Not worried about it...... :play:
@  Jafo5150 : (28 July 2015 - 06:21 PM) Received my letter in the mail the other day, but still no solution to the recall so it was pretty much a wate of postage
@  TymeSlayer : (27 July 2015 - 02:20 PM) Not yet but I'll assume they're coming soon enuf
@  BOTIEB8 : (26 July 2015 - 10:37 AM) Anyone else get a recall notice for replacement of the driver-side airbag? Looks like Ford got a batch of those "possibly" defective Takata units.
@  kevin : (25 July 2015 - 09:12 AM) I see the 2016 GT 350 is a 1300.00 gas guzzler.
@  Rich B. : (24 July 2015 - 03:41 PM) Thanks LSECO, it's just I always think it's on my end but all other channels are working fine, no biggie I guess.... :skateboard: .
@  LSECO : (24 July 2015 - 10:59 AM) RichB.Sometimes we can blame the server.I switched T-Mobile to Verizon recently...now I am a happy camper in a small town with weak t-mob. signal.I can finally do shoout outs AGAIN !(but no smilies a.t.moment)
@  302 Hi Pro : (24 July 2015 - 10:13 AM) squeeboss: She should go to the best Body Shop you know of. So sorry to hear this news.
@  SqueeBoss : (24 July 2015 - 08:43 AM) My Boss was rear ended yesterday - any advice for me to make sure repairs are done properly - does it have to go to Ford or can it go to "Joe's Body Shop"
@  Rich B. : (24 July 2015 - 03:37 AM) This site is still screwed up, not bad yesterday. On to else where's...... :peelout:
@  LSECO : (22 July 2015 - 11:32 PM) Oh yeah, installed MGW AT 19.5 K SMILES.
@  LSECO : (22 July 2015 - 11:30 PM) I only use track key while stationed / docked.the force be with u. and...I still have factory supplied trans oil at 20 k of severe usage.
@  LSECO : (22 July 2015 - 10:50 PM) I disabled my skip shift before knowing it might be disabled with T,K, which I only use at idle.
@  fjh262 : (22 July 2015 - 06:41 PM) Have a 2012 LS that i changed trans fluid after tracking for 4 days to Royal Purple Synchromax. Now I am not able to shift to 2nd as before. Almost as if skip shift is activated even though I am using only the Track key! Any help?
@  302 Hi Pro : (22 July 2015 - 05:35 PM) Yes, Rich here too.
@  Rich B. : (22 July 2015 - 03:09 PM) Forum has been screwed up here all day, maybe better tomorrow. Won't respond and way slower than usual...... :jump_earth:
@  LSECO : (21 July 2015 - 08:57 PM) A buddy with a newer Dodge CHARGER asked for my opinion, ...Turbo it or Supercharge ? I said he might look into some long tubes, and a tune. He is constantly driving/cruising. the car. It can get very hot in So.Az. Hey I'm 'cravin some longtubes and a tune right about now !! :hat_tip: :extinguish:
@  bossy13 : (21 July 2015 - 12:38 AM) Yes LSECO, I installed my multi-ply flange gaskets without goo.
@  LSECO : (20 July 2015 - 09:05 PM) Are theanifold flange gaskets installed dry ?
@  bossy13 : (19 July 2015 - 06:21 PM) All parts assembled - no leaks - sounds like you can declare the install a success. Nice job 2HP !
@  302 Hi Pro : (19 July 2015 - 04:52 AM) I was lucky to get it with the crows-foot socket. - 2HP
@  302 Hi Pro : (19 July 2015 - 04:50 AM) After two heat cycles, no leaks. You are correct, this should be assembled on the bench and installed as a Header/Cat assembly.
@  302 Hi Pro : (19 July 2015 - 04:49 AM) Used a crowfoot socket, (5 sided, pipe fitting type), to tighten top bolt, then sealed the connection with the bottom 15mm Cat stud/nut.
@  302 Hi Pro : (19 July 2015 - 04:46 AM) B13: Come to think about it, I tried but had no room to turn the Gearhead wrench. Thought I could tighten it after the engine was lowered back on the engine mounts. But found the flex head swivel socket, 15mm would not clear the primary tube.
@  bossy13 : (18 July 2015 - 12:28 PM) Great news 2HP - how does she sound ? Red-key lopey idle should sound awesome with the side-pipes wide open. BTW - Did you do the header bolt retighten with the K-member out ?
@  302 Hi Pro : (18 July 2015 - 11:28 AM) My NA power bolt ones are now complete. Air/Fuel in, Exhaust out and now, more efficiently
@  302 Hi Pro : (18 July 2015 - 11:24 AM) Well, I started Miss Kona, Oh My Gosh, the throttle response was awesome! FRPP 84.5mm TB, Airaid PJ CF CAI, Kooks Super Sport Headers, MagnaFlow 3.0" X-Pipe Cat back system with Kooks Boss Side Pipes
@  bossy13 : (18 July 2015 - 01:47 AM) What are you doing ??? Just making an awesome Boss 302 even more awesome - thats all !!
@  302 Hi Pro : (17 July 2015 - 04:18 PM) @TS, @B13, Thanks Guys! It's been an interesting project! At one point I had to ask myself, "2HP What the heck are you doing??????"
@  302 Hi Pro : (17 July 2015 - 04:15 PM) Getting close to engine start up for first heat cycle of new headers, this is exciting. Well to me, guess that makes me a Certified Boss Gearhead?
@  302 Hi Pro : (17 July 2015 - 05:39 AM) Yes, indeed. I had to resort to using my bio-torque wrench, and tighten until I felt the "Click" in my right elbow!
@  bossy13 : (17 July 2015 - 12:09 AM) Same with the cat bolts/nuts. With the larger collector on the headers a socket won't fit so I used a crow foot with the torque wrench.
@  bossy13 : (17 July 2015 - 12:06 AM) I used a crow foot with my torque wrench to get to a few of the more challenging header bolts. But still there are a couple where there simply isn't room, even with the crow foot (like the lower rear bolt on the driver side). For those I did the best I could by counting turns and 'feeing' it in.
@  bossy13 : (16 July 2015 - 11:56 PM) Yes, those front O2 sensor connectors are tough to get to. I found lowering the engine a bit gives a little more room to reach up the tunnel between the bell housing and floor board . But still a tight squeeze for sure.
@  TymeSlayer : (16 July 2015 - 02:11 PM) Good Luck Dave!
@  302 Hi Pro : (16 July 2015 - 08:43 AM) Re-assembly begins tomorrow, finally.
@  302 Hi Pro : (16 July 2015 - 08:42 AM) Step Torque all Header to Cylinder Head bolts. Hahahaha, yes try and get a torque wrench on all of those bolts!
@  302 Hi Pro : (16 July 2015 - 08:38 AM) The benefit of working on your own Boss is that you spend the extra time to get the little details like this right.
@  302 Hi Pro : (16 July 2015 - 08:36 AM) Yes, I did see your updates, thank you. Also the instruction sheet from Kooks states the same method. Here is another one: Disconnect the front O2 Sensor, well easier said than done with the location of those two plugs! But I finally "got her done" and done correctly as from the factory.
@  bossy13 : (16 July 2015 - 01:10 AM) One of my (updated) recommendations is to drop the cats with the headers because of those stubborn nuts. Much easier to deal with on the bench. I also installed my headers with the cats attached. Much easier to get proper torque on the cat bolts while the headers & cats are out of the car.
@  bossy13 : (16 July 2015 - 01:04 AM) Oh yeah - that upper passenger-side cat nut is a bear HiPro. Mine stripped out completely. Have you checked out the header instructions lately?  I modified them recently.
@  302 Hi Pro : (14 July 2015 - 03:24 PM) More: @B13: No damage to nut or stud! It was only possible because I had advance warning from you on your install. THANK YOU B13!
@  302 Hi Pro : (14 July 2015 - 03:22 PM) Hey B13: You know that one particular cat stud and nut? Well shot it 5 times over a 14 hour period with penetrating oil and let it soak. Broke 1 Snap-On 6pt. Swivel, then broke another Snap-On 6pt 3/4 swivel, was about to try one more time before I broke out the torch, then it POP'ed loose with my Craftsman 6pt deep socket on a swivel joint and 2 12" extensions. All from top side. 55 minutes on 1 15mm nut
