Have noticed many of the Photo Bucket thumbs have expired, not showing up here. :camera:

@  Rich B. : (24 July 2017 - 05:48 AM)

LSECO you crack me up still LoL. :clapping:

@  LSECO : (23 July 2017 - 11:36 PM)

For a while it seemed that Rich B. and I were nose to nose on number of posts... I held back a bit for Rich to take the lead... about a year ago ! We may be the best at getting off topic real quickly ! This certainly annoyed 302 HP a little. I hope he comes back an maybe even change his moniker to "OVER 444 HP AT THE REAR WHEELS" !!! :happy feet: :peelout: :shift:

@  Rich B. : (16 July 2017 - 04:43 AM)

Can't believe all the posts I have here, not much to do these days. No, get up at 3AM every morning still and on IPad until wife gets up around 6:30AM. :thud:

@  Rich B. : (14 July 2017 - 06:00 PM)

So I'm stopped on the Mechanic Falls bridge for light and the car (TK) is idling profusely. Actually it was the bridge shuddering from all the weight lmao. :kookie:

@  LSECO : (09 July 2017 - 09:06 PM)

Yankee, we will enjoy hearing your opinion on the MGW. TRANSFORMER indeed. I wonder if your MT might have lasted a little longer with the MGW 's precision, accuracy, and quality over stock. You're gonna be 'rockin.

@  Yankee-eight : (09 July 2017 - 01:12 PM)

I also ordered a mcleod clutch line and a MGW race spec shifter.

@  Yankee-eight : (09 July 2017 - 01:11 PM)

The trans issue was 100% my fault. I forced it too hard into gear. I'm buying his and will also get the one I pull out built. So I will have a spare.

@  SavetheManuals : (05 July 2017 - 02:33 PM)

Yankee - sorry to hear about your trans. Good choice with the Calimer. Did you sell/trade him yours or are you just buying his to replace yours?

@  Yankee-eight : (04 July 2017 - 12:59 PM)

I will make a thread about the install and how different the new trans feels.

@  Yankee-eight : (04 July 2017 - 12:59 PM)

Happy 4th everyone. Long story short... I just bought a built stage 1 ben calimer mt82. I smoked my 3rd gear synchro two nights ago racing a built cobra. I will also be picking up a rst clutch.

@  Rich B. : (04 July 2017 - 04:21 AM)

Roger that on the quiet exhaust StM. Have to find some info on all that and "Happy 4th". :shift:

@  SavetheManuals : (03 July 2017 - 11:05 AM)

@ Rich B. I know they are so quiet! I believe they have an active system so half the tips are closed under ~3000-3500 RPM but even when they open up above that they're still so quiet, I don't understand it.

@  Rich B. : (03 July 2017 - 04:47 AM)

Only the second time I've seen a new Corvette go by and you can't hear them coming or leaving. So why such an elaborate quad tip exhaust system? :headspin:

@  SavetheManuals : (28 June 2017 - 08:59 PM)

@BDAutobahn thanks for the advice, I would definitely rather pay more for a reputable carrier that I won't have to worry about.

@  BDAutobahn : (28 June 2017 - 01:52 PM)

I can tell you who NOT to use- Blue Star Auto Carriers. I asked them verbatim whether they were the shipper or the middleman, and they lied, instead saying, 'you need to read the fine print' of the contract. Once the no-name shipper got here, they had doctored (no joke) paperwork, meanwhile my Boss was locked in the trailer, held for ransom. Absolute scumbags. Was it me, I'd cowboy-up for a reputable carrier like Reliable or Intercity. Costs more, but how much do you appreciate your sleep time?

@  SavetheManuals : (28 June 2017 - 07:22 AM)

Can anyone recommend a quality vehicle transport company? May need to ship the Boss from PA to CA and I don't want to risk anything happening to her.

@  BOSS444 : (27 June 2017 - 06:08 PM)

got a nice 2013 Boss for sale if anyone knows some one looking for one. Only selling because my 2017 Shelby 350 just arrived. I love the Boss but .....

@  Rich B. : (26 June 2017 - 10:31 AM)

No worries, Takata is still making the replacement air bags, my understanding. So if one is very lucky lol?

@  BallwinBoss : (26 June 2017 - 08:55 AM)

woah, are yousaying they put a snake on the steering wheel? Not on mine!

@  TymeSlayer : (24 June 2017 - 08:38 AM)

Well, at least they didn't put a bow tie on there!

@  LSECO : (23 June 2017 - 06:48 PM)

I'd be OK WITH THE SNAKE. There are still a few other ponies on the car. Ballwin, the chrome horse is big and in 'yer face... :detective: :flyaway:

@  BDAutobahn : (23 June 2017 - 09:59 AM)

The issue Ballwin, is that to have a Shelby Logo steering wheel on a boss definitely IS a big deal.

@  BallwinBoss : (23 June 2017 - 08:37 AM)

car is back in the shop this morning for the P30X problems

@  BallwinBoss : (23 June 2017 - 08:37 AM)

Got my airbag done last month. Never looked to see what type it was and really don't care.

@  Rich B. : (20 June 2017 - 03:09 PM)

Lol BDA, the Shelby airbags are probably worse than the one it replaced (kidding). :drop:

@  BDAutobahn : (20 June 2017 - 07:40 AM)

Took mine in last week, finally, after all that time, for the airbag replacement.  The good news- the replacement takes twenty minutes (mainly so the techs can do their joyrides, er, "road tests," where they %*$& well better NOT find out whether the airbag works!).  The bad news- the replacement airbag had this coiled snake-looking thing on it.  Yep, they tried replacing it with a Shelby airbag.  Grrrrrrrr.

@  Rich B. : (20 June 2017 - 04:04 AM)

So another air bag recall notice yesterday (yes, get to this sometime soon). Ford only took what, 3 years to even get the notices out? :congrats:

@  LSECO : (19 June 2017 - 03:01 PM)

Getting stiffer: shock tower brace harness bar brace, rear seat delete X-brace,rear shock top brace, adj. poly bushing pan hardbar, poly lower controll arm bush.- maybe adj.upper poly bushed. Too much poly leads to increasef NVH...which lube do you guys recommend? :noobie: :puppy_kiss:

@  Rich B. : (16 June 2017 - 11:28 AM)

Lol El Seco, was thinking the same myself.... :dogwalk:

@  LSECO : (15 June 2017 - 11:39 PM)

Where are LONG time members 302hp , Ford20-Pheonix, GhigBoss, Shortimers like the Boss towing 200mph bike on trailer ? The short timers started out strong then just fiddled away. Of all the sites I've visited, there are much less haters.TROLLS are oviously 'a-plenty here as well. I guess that's just life on the internet !

@  Rich B. : (08 June 2017 - 02:13 PM)

Those batteries are amazing, hope their not manuf. by Samsung? :bike:

@  LSECO : (07 June 2017 - 11:01 PM)

Axt 20 -780 cca! Might just be my next battery. Thx. T.S. :banvictory:

@  TymeSlayer : (05 June 2017 - 08:03 AM)

Antigravity (AXT12-20L) batteries are 4.7 lbs, vs. 32 lbs. for the OEM

@  LSECO : (04 June 2017 - 11:42 AM)

Boss2207: Which battery did you go with? :peelout: I'm still pleased with the original, NEVER have I hooked up a trickle charger. I don't understand all the fuss about the Optimas. (They look nice but are very heavy ) :clapping:

@  Rich B. : (04 June 2017 - 10:23 AM)

I know what it is now, haven't heard from 302HP in maybe a couple weeks? Hope all's well with him and just on vacation?

@  Rich B. : (30 May 2017 - 11:26 AM)

Thx B2207, couldn't find anything either after I thought of that idea again. :drop:

@  Boss2207 : (30 May 2017 - 09:02 AM)

Rich, last i changed my battery (3 months ago), Optima didn't have one

@  Rich B. : (29 May 2017 - 05:08 AM)

Wonder if the Optima batteries have an exact replacement yet for '12-'13 Bosses? Nothing avail. 5 years back, what I'd like to replace mine with (maybe soon, after 5 years?). :whistling:
