Much to be said for tri-wyes it seems. This topic was on the bottom of another and when I did a look-see.... Went back to posts before anybody was doing header swaps pretty much. Again, can't recall anything I wrote here, TG for Alzheimers (kidding). But I can't say, to me OEM are quite impressive. Would really like to see by dyno test before and after with header exchange only? Of coarse as like the intakes with the tune (substantial power increase), isn't it the tune- period, that makes significantly more power? To each his own...... Con't.- Those are photos of a GT block, not a Boss as I thought. Understand both use same TY's. The oil cap says 5-20wt. not 5-50wt.

Before computers,a personal tuner did the tuning.

Probably the most important person on the team ,(drag racing especially),besides the driver. The tuner was also responsible for engine failure, oiling down the track, resulting in point losses. A key player. At least the '13 Boss has A/F monitoring which brings some peace of mind.

Now, with our coyote engines,we are just as dependent on the new computer tune to avoid catastrophic failure.

Difficult times for us do it yourselfers !
