Anyone have pics they mind sharing? I'm trying to add more bling for car shows. Anyone have strut tower covers or Chrome pieces? Any dress up is welcome. Here is what I have as of now

Have too seen vinyl or plastic letters of various colors that the valve cover lettering can be filled in with. Can paint also, where indented and anything outside the lines can be cleaned off with paint thinner. The plastic is so hard and impervious even lacquer thinner wouldn't soften it.

Actually more chrome would look great I'd imagine. Not a lot to show on cars these days, made cheaper. To me under the hoods looks boring and mundane, all the detail is covered with cowling and panels.

Looking great TEK302! Love the matching pony on your brace.

Here's a picture on my bay.

My strut tower caps are from Roush and even with the Konis and MM caster/camber plates, they fit.

Everything under the bonnet has Roush caps, including the one you cannot see under the master cylinder cover. They come black or silver. The radiator overflow tank is indeed a Moroso that I painted black with a high heat paint.

TS,

Regarding the Roush parts, can you confirm that aside from the washer fluid cap, those are not caps but cap covers held by adhesive?

And regarding the strut tower smaller bolt covers, how did you manage to get the inner ones on with the brace in place? They advertise it's not meant to be put on with the brace in.

Any comments and review will help me before I pull the trigger on these.

Thanks!

G

It's been a while since I put these on but I do recall a few utilize the existing caps and adhere to them with two sided 3M tape. The strut tower caps, large and small all screw on and fit just fine with the brace as well as the addition of the caster/camber plate. When I installed the Konis the large center cap sat up higher and does leave a slight ring in the hood insulation but no harm there. I have tracked the car and have had no issues with any coming loose. One thing I also recall was the washer fluid cap needed some fine tuning to get it to fit. I had to sand down the opening in the washer fluid reservoir to get it to fit correctly. Hope this helps.

PS: Others make these caps but I bought them from Roush because I already had their hood struts and I tried to maintain some consistency. All-in-all they've held up well in the three years they've been on.

Think I've said this before, but love the coordinated paint and stripes on the rad-cover and strut brace.

Thanks bossy 13....I painted them myself... A lot of patience an measuring but I'm happy with it the hardest part was getting the same type of finish of the stripe... I found that black primer matches the reflective boss stripe well...

Good call on the back primer to match the stripe's matt finish.

Super happy with the Roush shock tower dressing kit. Premium quality and now I've put them on, I realize how crappy these shock towers look without it.
