Who's tune do you have. I have an FRRP 90 mm paper weight presently on my desk. Shaun at AED Tuning told me not to use it and he suggested I go with Kooks 1-5/8 long tubes...my choice was to get the smaller L T s. Because my displacement is only 302 c.i. I am in a clusterfruk right now. I'll try off road X pipe. catless, no resonators. My intake is a clean AEM intake from the stock CAI. I NEED HELP!

I feel very happy with my mostly stock set up...

X pipe,no side pipes, no resonators and muffler deletes. I really have considered and reconsidered my plan.

Tough question(s) LS. Seems though a 90MM TB is a larger bore than the manifold inlet itself or maybe even intake. Had to go from 3 1/2" to 4" coupling jut to fit my 84.5MM, even that may be oversize. Also noted the OEM intake tube is actually paper thin, not substantially insulated as previously thought. Let's see, tubing headers.... Wonder if some of those tubes are actually bigger than the exhaust outlets in the engine itself?

I don't believe you can get any more air in or exhaust exit than the smallest diameter will allow unless compressing air. As with plumbing, turn on the garden hose full blast and only so much water will flow even if fed from a 3/4 or 1/2" line. So I put in a spigot by the pool and ran I think 3/8" copper tubing down there. Have better or as good pressure and flow as anywheres, maybe not the best comparison. Water won't compress and under pressure as such but by having flow restricted due to the opening of smallest orifice is my thinking.

Side tracked again, guess that's OK as long as it's a smooth transition. But 90MM is just a mite over 3.5"? Doesn't sound right.

Thanks TS! I've seen a couple plain GB Mustangs and I must admit that without some kind of black stripes to cut it a little, I found them to be "too blue".

My own personal taste only, of course, but the Boss stripes (C or hockey) are just the best looking stripes on a Mustang!

Agree.  My daughter has a MCA V-6 Grabber Blue mustang.  The subtle stripe on the side makes a world of difference.

Wasn't the reverse side C stripe popular on mid-sixties GT Mustangs even before anybody thought of a Boss? Try to find photo...... Not GT but think I've seen these. Attached File  image.jpeg   174.24KB   0 downloads

Works so well on a'13 !

My best choice was to powder coat my strut bar red and change my coil covers to red ones. '13 Bosses seem easier to do the underhood action.

The stripes design helps a lot indeed, for that underhood area.
