Well my 2013 Race Red Boss 302 #2334 has a new stable mate.  I've added a 2012 Silver Laguna Seca Boss 302 #LS561.  It has 16K miles, 26K km and is 1 of only 5 that was produced for Canada in this color, and the only one ordered without the cover and floor mats.  It is completely stock.  I had a 2012 Boss cover in my stash of Boss spares, and will try to find a set of correct floor mats for it.  It has all the parts that came with it in the trunk, including the brake duct cooling kit, transmission cooler air scoop and front splitter, all of which have not been installed.

Also, has driving lights in the lower valance, where the brake cooling ducts are installed.  I need to research this a little more, as I think they came on Canadian cars as part of the day time running lights package, but not sure on this.  Haven't even looked at how to turn them on or off, or if they come on automatically with the key in the on position in the day light.  Does anyone know if they came on the US cars as well.

No mods are planned, expect for a Blowfish shifter support bracket, which I have in my spare parts.  Looking forward to driving it in the spring.

You can see the 2013 sitting on the lift in a couple of the pictures.  The LS will go underneath, once I have the garage door tracks raised to the ceiling to allow the door to open with the car on the lift.  Have to stack them for wifie's car to fit inside during the winter.

Yes very lucky to have one from each year and an LS to boot. But I think we are all fortunate to own one of these beauties that many will talk about into the future.

Well, I finally got a chance to see what's up with the driving lights installed in the lower valance where the brake cooling ducts go. They are aftermarket (installed by the dealer, as there is an invoice in the glove box) and have a concealed flat style toggle switch on the under side of the dash. In the trunk are new inserts for the valance should I choose to install the brake cooling vents one day. The install looks done very well. I do need to hide the wire on the driver side a little better.

Wheels are coming off today for a thrall cleaning as well as cleaning the calipers. Can't find a mark on the car anywhere, which is unexpceted due to the mileage. Can't find an issue anywhere. I'm extremely pleased.

Sorry, don't know why they are upside down.

I was hoping to go for a ride this weekend, but with the snow fall and salt yesterday, will have to way until next weekend. So they are back in the garage.

The Silver and Red LS was my first choice in purchasing my car. I wanted it real bad. However my banker and wife said no to the 10G's they wanted to add to the price (ADM). Thank god I had her with me. I would of signed on the dotted line.

And when she found out... :gaah:  :rant2:  :swear:

You have a beautiful LS in my eyes.

Take good care of her. I can see she will be treated like royalty.

Thanks. It will be treated like a queen. The 2013 Red Boss will see a few tracks days this year. I just noticed the kilometre reading on the odometer.

I was out with the LS for coffee with a bunch of Mustang owners in my home town and a good friend was there with his 2012 Black with Red stripe LS. So we ended up parking beside each other and I couldn't believe my eyes when I looked at the Boss number on his intake, LS560. My Silver LS is nunber 561 and the VIN is C5249887. The Black LS munber 560 is VIN C5252249.

Seems weird that the VINs are so far apart, and yet they are sequential LS numbers. Only reason we could come up with was that the Black LS560 is a US production car and the Silver LS561 is a Canadian Production car.

Small world that these two iconic cars end up in the same town.
