Hello

Well I was lucky enough to know someone who had a 2013 Boss with only 5,927 KM on it and he decided to sell it because he just never drove it very much. I absolutely love driving the car and I have one question that I do not know the answer to. I believe they only built a total of 2000 cars in 2012 and 2013 if that is not correct please let me know. I was cleaning the engine compartment and looked at the build number and it says 2000. Does that mean it is the last car built in Flat Rock Michigan for 2013?

Hi Canuck23:

Congrats on your low mileage 2013 Boss 302 and welcome to the Boss 302 Forum & Club. It looks like you found an excellent car. Also, the number you found on the intake manifold is your Boss 302 production number and to have 2000 is very cool.

Scheduled Boss 302 production numbers were 3,250 500A non LS and 750 units for the 501A which is the LS model code. Please note the actual Boss 302 production were close to this but plus or minus a few units for each model year.

Did you receive the original Boss 302 Owners Kit with the car? If so, it included documentation for your car. There is actual production charts for each year and when time allows, I will or perhaps another Member can provide you with a link.

Because you are in Canada, the 2012/13 Boss 302 units shipped to your market are even fewer making your car a very rare find.

When you get a moment, please tell us more about your Boss 302, like color, options, mods if any and please post pictures. I know you will totally enjoy your new ride.

Enjoy,
302 Hi Pro

@Canuck23 - I have a chart that shows in 2013 there were 3553 Standard Bosses and 765 LS Bosses produced but these numbers aren't official. What color is yours? Congrats on the purchase, welcome to the club and Enjoy the ride!

Thanks for the feedback...I believe this forum is going to be very good to learn about this car and or issues to watch out for.

The car is grabber blue with the Brembo/Recarro/Torsen options totally stock. I did not get the owner's kit but I have ordered the build sheet window sticker from Ford Canada. Boy what a difference driving it compared to my 2015 lariat F150 LOL.

Thank you for the chart it makes things very easy to figure out. Funny that my grabber blue car is one of 61 sent to Canada and even stranger that it is car # 2000.
