Im probably buying a LS this week and been looking at the registry. I can't seem to get any response from the search function. Ive searched production number for cars known to be registered with no luck. Is the search for complete VIN only?

Do you mean the registry connected with this forum? It's for you to provide detailed info about your Ford. Other than your own car available for review right now I think it'll be awhile longer before lists are available for all. This is brand new and though there other registries this is sanctioned by FOMOCO. Mine comes up automatic but believe it is by registration #.

Now I may of misunderstood that all registrations will become publicly available as some of the info contained would be considered private. Have to wait and see I 'spose.

It very well could be registered, have decal also to put on car if so elect. Were you going to get like a Carfax report also? Some Bosses have questionable backgrounds such as flood damage and a few were rebuilt total outs even being resold.

There are very few registrations compared to production numbers. Unless the Boss being considered for purchase has VERY low miles I'd be VERY cautious , you don't want any hand me down problems caused by an inexperienced Rodger Ramjet Ricky Racer. But sometimes you just have to rely on "Gut Feelings"

Thanks for the advice. The car has 1800 miles on. The original wheels and tires were removed from the car and come with it.

Sounds great so far...are the new wheels for tracking or for some other reason? The stock '13 L S wheels are very good looking. Hopefully the miles on it are not drag race miles .LOL

ROAD COURSE miles are generally less of an overall thrashing.

Good luck with your decision.

A car like the Boss, bought used, has brought some grief to some.

We all want to have fun, and a good Boss will really satisfy.

With only a two year run, a Boss really is special.

Very nice, less miles than mine even. Going to be a 5 year old car now with all original labels and paint dabs still (they're just there). Still finding bits of masking tape all over, don't leave those lol.
