Has anyone recently able to find exact Pirelli replacement tires for 13 Boss 302?

Can understand why one may want to keep everything OEM on their Boss. However the Pirellis aren't the best tire for street or driving when temps are as 30-40 degrees. The tire composition is sticking and hot weather use only (as a race track day). Cold(er) climate you may as well drive on ice. Loose control, slippery and may exempt you from insurance coverage if in crash, it would be your fault (summer use only tires). To each his own......

Monitor may move this post to tire and wheel forum, a few seem to be in non-related sectors. I don't care but this forum is well organized (until I think of something lol).

After driving on several types of tires I'd recommend against the Pirelli's.  They don't grip well at all  for summer and spirited driving I'd look at the Michelin ties and if you're going to drive in harsher conditions I'd look at the Continental DWS.

+1 on what BallwinBoss said. The Pirelli's are a terrible tire. I love my Michelin's for track use, but Conti's are probably your best bet for rain/winter weather

If you occasionally track your car, then get a second set of tires and wheels.

I like what RichB. stated above.

If you haven't yet tracked your car with REAL race tires, you really are missing the point on enjoying a track car to its fullest.

I may try the Hankook Ventus V 12 tires for just getting from point A to point B.

I attended an HPDE two day training in my Audi R8 with the Hankook Ventus V-12 tires, and was quite impressed. Hogwash you probably think, but...been there, done that.

Yeah, I use hankook RS3's for my wet or cool track days. Perilli DH slicks for my dry and warm track days. Man those things stick!

I will look into those RS 3 s. The Hoosier R6s are nice,(and pricey)...with plenty of feedback, such as squealing loudly before letting loose, a feature that helps with catastrophic loss of control.

I'm not finding the same Ventus evo V12 tires I purchased back in 2010. Bummer.

The Yokohama R888s really look aggressive, hook up O.K.

THEY GIVE HARDLY ANY ADVANCE WARNING BEFORE LOSING TRACTION, AND are noisy as heck... every bump in the road could be heard.

These would be my choice on a "Show Car"...
