Purchased my pristine 13' SBY about 6 months back with 2,300 miles on it. I've been able to put about 400 miles on the car this Summer here in Michigan but no track events as of yet. Over the weekend I thought I'd try the Track Key for a nice Sunday drive. Holy crap................never knew what I was missing. A bit louder and more responsive for sure. It's like a different car. Guess my dumb question of the day is can I use the red key for daily use without sacrificing long term wear on my motor or should it be used just at track events. Thanks guys

Some people use nothing but the Red Key with no problems.

I only use mine for drags or autocrossing.

Take your pick!

Use mine all the time. Can't imagine anything's going to change or wear out faster unless you drive around at 7K RPM steadily. You don't have to race it even if in race car mode. PCM retains a profile of driving habits also is my understanding.
