Ok Yall....... Im starting a totally new thread here, primarily because these are NOT louvres.....theyre more of a scoop in my opinion, and there was some confusion on the louvre thread that I was posting on.

In case anyone is new to this thread, these scoops are made of urethane and I bought them directly from Cervinis. Even had them prepaint them for me. They are a SPOT ON match and the finish is fish eye free and they look amazing up close!!

Also, I mentioned over yonder that I was having to wait for 3M adhesion promoter to get them installed. Frankly, I couldnt wait to see what they looked like on the car (and to share with the forum), so I attached four tiny little pieces of 3M tape for a temporary photo op. These are NOT attached for a final completion. So, if you see any gaps, those will go away once theyre finally pressed firm with tape all around.

Gotta be honest, with just a few small lightly applied corners, they fit very very nice.

Let the flame throwing begin!!

You destroyed the beauty of that car. I'll offer you $15,000 for the car to hide your mistake. :drop:

Just kidding of coarse. I will say that at least the louvers are stick on and easy to remove if you feel the need to down the road..

I like the look of louvers or block off panels or what ever they want to call them.

However I got tired of not being able to see on coming traffic at times, and a few close calls.

So off they came and now are part of my extra parts collection. I still run the rear window lovers.

I do love the red / white on the Boss . I almost went with that color / stripe when I ordered mine. But I saw YB color in the sunlight and I chough up the extra $900 for the paint and the rest is history.

Looks sharp! Different, that's for sure as I've never seen any around here. Did you apply a blackout decal to the glass first?

Thanks fellas.

No sir on the blackout decal.

Had these on my other S197s too. Ingenious idea. Theyre made by CDC out of factory Mustang headliner material. Perfect match to the interior. They 3M to the inside of the quarter glasses.
And at a measly $30 for the pair.......................

Didn't realize the inside had finish pieces, those will look OEM BB. For some reason your car looks more complete with louvre vents, very believable as actual reverse air induction scoops. Think those would actually work by creating a vaccum, draft and pulling air into compartment. Providing glass wasn't there of coarse:)

I guess the air would then bash into the rear window unless it wasn't there.

Thanks Guys.

Rich, the reason I decided to even “go there” on this car, was precisely because I thought these lend themselves to the silhouette of the Boss 1/4’s.

Thanks Slayer....

On a side note and since this is my thread, I can hijack it  ...... I finally re-installed the front splitter. They removed it for me at the stealer before the trucker picked up the car...just in case. Looks way different with it back on. :happy feet:

Ok, Ill be the odd ball here.
Really not my cup of tea. IMHO, it makes the car look like another modded GT...

That being said, the Cervinis products always look top of the shelf!

Not a fan of these scoops.

IMO they detract from the cars design.

My favorite design of them all! Was curious if they would stick out too far from rear view but it doesnt appear they do. The full covers, paint matched, are a close second. How much did they run you?
